The parable of the sower hinges on a single word: understanding! In Matthew 13:51, Jesus Christ paused and asked whether the disciples had understood everything they had been taught till that point. Three months into our Advancing the Kingdom of God series, it is about time to equally pause and examine our understanding thus far.

Jesus Christ did not inoculate his followers from trials. He, however, promised to never leave us alone. As we obediently advance the Kingdom of God, we will be met by all manner of opposition. Victory is guaranteed for as long as we do not quit. Be courageous and move forward.
